Harry Kane to Man Utd transfer: How Striker’s Transfer Could Shake Up the Premier League

When Manchester United makes a strong effort to buy Tottenham’s star striker, Harry Kane, the captain of England, his future is expected to be one of the major topics of the summer transfer window.

Erik ten Hag is eager to expand his striker options, thus Harry Kane is expected to be Manchester United’s primary objective during the summer transfer window.

Ten Hag’s center-forward has been a difficult position to play this season because Wout Weghorst has had trouble scoring. The United manager is making a strong effort to recruit Kane, who just broke the record for goals scored by England and Tottenham, in order to expand his alternatives in that area.

They will have to work hard to land the Three Lions captain, as Spurs are reluctant to let their star player depart on the cheap. As the summer transfer window approaches with alarming speed, Mirror Football examines the scenario.

Kane’s stance

Since Kane has yet to win a significant club prize and has no chance to do so this year, the striker may be more and more willing to leave Spurs. His current deal is soon to expire, and United appear to be in a strong position to contend for trophies.

The Athletic claims that there is a sentiment at Old Trafford that Kane would find the Red Devils to be an alluring offer. It would be the opposite of Frenkie de Jong’s predicament from last summer, when Barcelona and the midfielder agreed on a price but the player was adamant about staying put.

He wants to be a leader at the club and is still committed to helping Tottenham place in the top four. Although extending his stay at Spurs has not been ruled out, the striker may decide that this is the ideal time to leave as he approaches his 30th birthday.

Harry Kane is being linked with a move to Manchester United this summer.

Levy’s vow

Daniel Levy will not let Kane depart willingly.

While Kane is willing to leave Tottenham, United will face opposition from chairman Daniel Levy. Although there is a case to be made that selling Kane could be the best course of action, Levy has little desire to see the club lose Kane.

Levy has “no intention” of ever again selling a player to either of the two Manchester teams, according to the Daily Mail. He has never been able to forgive himself for allowing Kyle Walker to sign with City six years ago, and he still regrets doing so.

He is claimed to have “vowed” as a result to never repeat the error. Levy is known for being a tough negotiator even in the best of circumstances, so United will have to get through his commitment in order to sign Kane.

Bayern eye move

New Bayern Munich boss Thomas Tuchel is a huge fan of Kane.

But, United are up against competition from more than just Tottenham, as Bayern Munich is also considering a bid for the England captain. Oliver Khan, the CEO of Bayern, has made no sᴇᴄʀᴇᴛ of his admiration for Kane, acknowledging that signing him would be a “dream of the future.”

According to Sky Deutschland, the Bundesliga’s top teams are negotiating a contract for him that may cost anywhere between £70 million and £88 million. The ꜰᴀᴄᴛ that Thomas Tuchel, the new Bayern manager, is a major admirer of Kane further heightens the interest.

Robert Lewandowski, Bayern’s standout striker who left in the summer, has not been adequately replaced. And Tuchel, who has already acknowledged he would love to collaborate with the Spurs player, could persuade Bayern chiefs to act on their interest.
