LeBron James, a current Los Angeles Laker and former Cleveland Cavaliers player, visited at least two Akron locations while in town, sparking a flurry of social media posts.
On Friday, the person responsible for Cleveland’s first NBA championship and Akron’s I Promise School paid a visit to House Three Thirty and Yoga Squared on West Market Street.
Nikki and Katelyn Woodford-Shell of Yoga Squared commented on Facebook on Friday: “Special guest in the studio today!! LeBron James, you have my sincere gratitude and appreciation for all you do for our city. LeBron is pictured with the Woodford-Shells in the image.
James shared a tweet from The LeBron James Family Foundation about his visit in a post on Twitter.
The foundation tweeted, “You never know when @KingJames might stop by House Three Thirty.”
LeBron responds in his retweet, “Never Know!”
House Three Thirty, the site of the former Tangier restaurant, is described by the foundation as “an innovative, multi-use facility filled with resources for and by I PROMISE families that we believe will change the entire trajectory of our community.”
