According to rumours, Bayern Munich may challenge Liverpool for the services of Khephren Thuram.
Loss of a potential transfer for Liverpool
According to Foot Mercato, Bayern manager Thomas Tuchel has made the Nice midfielder Thuram his top target in terms of transfers this summer. They assert that the German powerhouses have spoken to the player’s entourage, a claim that Sky Sports Germany disputes.
In either case, it makes matters more difficult for Liverpool, who were previously believed to be in the driver’s seat for Thuram. The 22-year-old, who joined Nice as a teenager from Monaco in 2019, is well-regarded after excelling for the team.
The player, who made his own entry into the French international system in March and earned his first cap, is the son of renowned France defender Lilian and the brother of forward Marcus. He can operate in a box-to-box position or defensive midfield.
