Man Utd given ‘green light’, club happy to sell £25m star to Old Trafford

Sofyan Amrabat, a midfielder for Fiorentina, has been linked to Manchester United once more.

Another midfielder might still join Manchester United even if Mason Mount is expected to do so first.

Sofyan Amrabat continues to be linked in rumors, and according to Football Italia, Manchester United would pay the midfielder handsomely.

Fiorentina is the Moroccan international’s club until 2024, and the Serie A team is reportedly open to receiving offers around £25 million.

Newest Sofyan Amrabat

Fabrizio Romano cites Fiorentian CEO Joe Barone, who has clarified the company’s position on the matter.

We have not at all received a bid or proposal for him, he declared.

He now plays for Fiorentina. If a proposition is made, we will consider it.

Not exactly ‘hands off’ to Manchester United in this situation. If an offer is made, the Serie A team will assess it and probably talk about it with Amrabat and his agents.

According to Football Italia, AC Milan and Atletico Madrid, as well as clubs based in Saudi Arabia, are all showing an increasing amount of interest in Amrabat’s position.

Amrabat, 26, played for Fiorentina in 29 Serie A games last season and accrued 11 yellow cards due to his aggressive play.

Along with Casemiro, the World Cup standout would provide strength to United’s midfield and be able to fill in for the Brazil international if necessary.

The Red Devils may be interested in this trade, but adding a goalie and a striker is a higher priority. As a result, this type of transaction would have to wait until after and be contingent on player sales.
