There are rumors that CALLUM HUDSON-ODOI wants to leave Chelsea.
The Athletic says that even though the player showed up for the first day of preseason training with the Blues under Mauricio Pochettino, he is not expected to stay with the team for long.
Hudson-Odoi, who is 22, spent last season on loan at Bayer Leverkusen, and Chelsea is said to be willing to listen to offers for him.
It is said that Nottingham Forest, AC Milan, and Fulham, which is close by, are all interested in the England star.
Hudson-Odoi joined the team near the end of Antonio Conte’s time in charge in 2017.
He also showed a lot of promise when Maurizio Sarri and Frank Lampard took over for Conte.
Then, under Thomas Tuchel, he was moved to wing-back, where he showed promise at first.
But in 2021, he was put on as a substitute at halftime of a 1-0 loss to Southampton and then taken off again later.
Tuchel said after the game, “I wasn’t happy with his attitude, energy, or counterpressing.”
“I took him off because we need 100% and I don’t think he’s in good enough shape to help us.
“It was hard to decide, but tomorrow no one will remember.”
Tuchel questioned Hudson-Odoi’s attitude later that year when he didn’t play for England U21 even though he had been called up to the main team.
Ghana is interested in signing the England player, but his loan with Leverkusen wasn’t very good.
He played in a total of 22 games, but the only goal he scored was an own goal against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League.
