Jose Enrique says Liverpool have made a ‘massive mistake’ this summer transfer

In Jose Enrique’s opinion, allowing Roberto Firmino to leave Liverpool was a “massive mistake.”

James Milner, Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, and Firmino will all be released at the conclusion of their contracts, the Reds announced back in May.

Among the four, Firmino is without a doubt the most well-known, and Al Ahli revealed yesterday that they have signed him. Enrique has zero satisfaction with Liverpool.

Roberto Firmino’s departure from Liverpool, according to Jose Enrique, was a mistake.

Didn’t Liverpool have a horrific season the last time around?

Everyone anticipated that the Reds would once again be a title contender, but they had a terrible season and finished outside the top four.

At Liverpool, changes were required, so it’s not surprising that we’ve already witnessed a lot of them.

The departure of Roberto Firmino was arguably the most painful moment for Liverpool supporters at the end of the previous campaign. The Brazilian will be remembered as a Reds legend because of how much he was loved there.

His future is now in Saudi Arabia after being signed by Al Ahli yesterday. Enrique wished him success while criticizing Liverpool for allowing him to leave.

“I actually believe this is a massive mistake from Liverpool letting him go because if he is still fit he is better than Gakpo, Darwin so…,” he stated in his Instagram Story.

“But best of luck, a big legend for the Reds!”
