Liverpool ready to push to sign £60m Ivorian born star

Marc Guehi is the most recent center back to have his name brought up in relation to Liverpool.

If media rumours are to be believed, the Reds are prepared to make a push to sign the Crystal Palace star.

In an exclusive report, Football Insider reported that Liverpool were prepared to compete with other Premier League clubs for the services of the 22-year-old center half.

The Ivory Coast city of Abidjan is where the young defender was born. He excelled at the defense for the Eagles throughout the previous season.

According to the news source, the Selhurst Park team would request bids of at least £60 million to part ways with Guehi.

According to reports, the asking price will make it challenging for the Anfield club and other interested parties to close the transaction.

Guehi played for Palace in 37 Premier League games last season and contributed to the team’s 9 shutouts.

He made his England debut back in March 2022, and as of right now, he has played in four games while playing under Gareth Southgate.

The defender played the entire ninety minutes in the Three Lions’ 4-0 victory against Malta in the Euro 2024 qualification match last month.

According to Football Insider, Spurs and Arsenal are also interested in signing Marc Guehi in addition to Liverpool, Newcastle, and north London clubs.
