In preparation for a hectic schedule of friendlies, Manchester United has welcomed back several of its players for preseason training at Carrington.
34 days after United’s 2022–23 season ended, Manchester City defeated them 2-1 at Wembley in the FA Cup final. However, Erik ten Hag has already begun planning for the 2023–24 season and has invited a select number of players back for beginning fitness work.
Those who hadn’t recently participated in international competitions were the group that was seen visiting the club’s Carrington training facility on Thursday. This comprises upcoming athletes, those recovering from injuries, and veterans of international service.
The composition of Ten Hag’s team will undoubtedly change between now and the deadline on September 1 with the summer transfer window still open. Some renegade players are still present, nevertheless, at Carrington.
Mount entailed

Van de Beek, on the other hand, will be eager to win over Ten Hag and get access to the group. That will be more challenging now that Mount is present.
Amad returns
In 2022–2023, Amad had an outstanding debut season while on loan with Sunderland. The £37 million winger returned to United to compete for a spot in Ten Hag’s team after being given the chance to express himself on Wearside.

Williams returns following criticism
Just a few weeks after receiving a reprimand from the club for his social media posts, Brandon Williams was among those taking part in training.
Williams made fun of Manchester City when they won the Champions League, but United authorities didn’t like his remarks.
