‘Liverpool are serious’ – Klopp loves £26m attacker, who dubbed ‘Raphinha 2.0’ & can replace Salah in future

If media claims are to be believed, Liverpool is seriously interested in acquiring Real Betis playmaker Luiz Henrique.

This summer, the Reds concentrated on bolstering and upgrading their midfield, but they are now trying to bolster other areas as well.

The Reds are the newest team interested in contracting the services of the La Liga attacker, according to a report from two days ago by the Spanish outlet Fichajes.

In his search for a player who can fill in for Mohamed Salah on the right flank, Klopp likes the Brazilian winger.

Another Spanish media site, Nacional, said yesterday that Liverpool is now prepared to pay 30 million euros to acquire Henrique from Betis.

The Catalan source claimed that the Los Verdiblancos, who had only signed the 22-year-old for 8 million euros, would be satisfied with the £26 million transfer fee.

According to reports, in the race to entice the South American, the Merseysiders are leading La Liga heavyweights Real Madrid and champion Barcelona.

Henrique can play a variety of offensive positions, but he prefers to play on the right flank.

The teenage prodigy made 27 starts in all competitions in the previous season and personally assisted in 10 goals for Real Betis, who finished sixth in the league.

The quick attacker has only played once for the U-20 squad and is yet to make his senior Brazilian international debut.
