ZEGNA x Real Madrid: Unveiling the Exclusive Collaboration and Stylish Campaign

Luxury Italian sartorial house ZEGNA recently announced its partnership with Real Madrid, and since then, the brand has been celebrating this collaboration with events in the football club’s hometown and unveiling a closer look at the collection through its “ADV” campaign.

The campaign highlights the sophisticated football-inspired wardrobe crafted exclusively for Real Madrid by ZEGNA. The players are seen donning sleek black tailored pieces, with items like a chore jacket serving as a contemporary and sporty alternative to a blazer. Overshirts add a relaxed touch, and formalwear replaces jogging pants. The collection also features narrow trousers that perfectly showcase the players’ footwear, such as a pair of Triple Stitch shoes.

Double-stripe graphics add a contrasting block effect to the chore jacket, paying homage to ZEGNA’s heritage while maintaining a pre-court session aesthetic.

Speaking about the collaboration, Gildo Zegna, Chairman and CEO of Ermenegildo Zegna Group, said, “I am outstandingly thrilled about our newly announced partnership with Real Madrid, one of the most recognizable brands in the world with a loyal and enthusiastic fanbase. The importance of values is what attracted Zegna and Real Madrid. We are both convinced that what is visible, either an item of clothing or winning a football match, only matters if there is an ethical stance behind it.”

Alessandro Sartori, Artistic Director of ZEGNA, added, “Real Madrid is a unique football club, the most famous club in the world. Creating a luxury leisurewear wardrobe for such an iconic team of football players, and doing it in the traditional made-to-measure way, allowed me to test my ideas with men who truly live the lifestyle we address as ZEGNA. This makes for an electrifying exchange, in which we both learn from one another.”

In other news, Real Madrid’s training session sees casualties Alaba and Mendy due to their injuries. Carlo Ancelotti prepares for the upcoming match with the challenge of rearranging his pieces given the intensity of the schedule. With La Liga being virtually impossible after Barcelona’s closed-door decision, another sure absence in Girona is that of Dani Ceballos, who received his fifth yellow card against Celta. In the absence of a card to complete the cycle, Camavinga and Carvajal, who could be reprimanded tomorrow, would miss the game against Almería.

Despite the numerous absences, Ancelotti pushes forward and has Mario, Arribas, Tobias, Nakai, and Álvaro Gómez working alongside the first team. It’s a clear message of how Madrid is approaching this final stretch of the league and where their priorities lie. Faced with so many losses, Ancelotti improvises and has these players working alongside the squad.
