‘Blow for Klopp’: Liverpool’s ‘top CB target’ now agreed £30m move to rivals

In the race to hire Torino’s Dutch center half, Perr Schuurs, Crystal Palace has surpassed Liverpool.

We reported on a Tutto Sport report from yesterday that the Reds had submitted their second offer of more than 30 million euros, advancing their chances of wooing the former Ajax midfielder.

The Eagles are currently in prime position to sign the 23-year-old defender, according to an update from the Italian media site later in the day.

A bid of more than £30 million has been made by Crystal Palace. To gain the upper hand in the competition for Schuurs’ signature, they have put forth an offer of 35 million euros with bonuses.

The Turin-based club, which signed its star for a relatively low sum of just over 9 million euros, has been requesting a fee of 40 million euros for the sale of their player.

Schuurs is almost ready to leave Torino and join the Eagles after receiving the most recent offer from the Selhurst Park team.

Liverpool must strengthen their defense this summer after giving up 47 goals in the previous Premier League season.

They have been following the Dutchman for a while, so it would surprise them to lose out to Premier League opponents despite making two offers.

Since Roy Hodgson’s squad finished 11th in the league last season, they will not be competing in any European events. Klopp’s team, on the other hand, will participate in the Europa League.
