Fabinho transfer hint found on Rebecca Tavares’s Instagram as Liverpool player linked with Saudi Arabia

Fabinho and Jordan Henderson have been connected with substantial Saudi Pro League bids, fueling speculation over Liverpool’s senior midfielders throughout the course of the week.

The former is said to be a target for Al Ittihad, a club run by ex-Wolves manager Nuno Espirito Santo that has already enticed France internationals Karim Benzema and N’Golo Kante away from Europe.

Although claims have been made that officials have been in contact with the Brazilian, the Reds had received no official approach as of Friday lunchtime.

Fabinho signed a five-year contract with Liverpool in August 2021, a little more than three years after joining from Monaco, and his future remains uncertain despite an upturn in play following Jurgen Klopp’s altered formation at the conclusion of last season.

However, astute fans have noticed a hint that the midfielder – and his family – may be considering a future in the Middle East.

This is because Fabinho’s wife, Rebeca Tavares, follows a tour firm called ‘Welcome Saudi’ on Instagram.

“The No.1 Travel Search and Review Website in Saudi Arabia,” according to the page’s bio.

“Discover the Best Hotels, Restaurants, and Tourist Destinations in Saudi Arabia,” it says, and it often posts photos of Jeddah, the Red Sea city where Al Ittihad is situated.

It will be interesting to observe how the Fabinho scenario develops. The Brazilian was recently asked by the club website about the process of ‘creating something fresh’ at Liverpool this season.

“Yes, football is like this,” said Fabinho. “From time to time, we will lose some very good friends.” That is the case with Bobby; he has passed away, and I wish him and his family the best.

“We have to concentrate on the players we have right now.” [Alexis] Mac Allister and [Dominik] Szoboszlai have just arrived. I haven’t seen them yet; they have a couple more days off.

“We just hope they’ll be ready to join us.” We will assist them in their transition and hope that they will be ready to receive team ideas as soon as possible.”
