According to the most recent rumours, Joshua Kimmich, who Liverpool wanted to sign, may now leave his present club Bayern Munich this summer.
Liverpool and another Premier League team Arsenal have both been connected to the player during the summer transfer window. Now it appears as though they have a chance to sign him.
According to the German magazine Kicker, Bayern has been talking about the midfielder’s future. It appears that Kimmich is no longer seen as “untouchable” or “unsellable” by the club administration.
In fact, the article claims that they will be open to bargaining if a prospective club approaches them or makes a sizable offer.
Kimmich, a target for Liverpool, is suddenly available this summer.
Kimmich would be a terrific acquisition for the team during the summer transfer window.
Two midfielders have already been acquired by them. Without a question, Kimmich would be the ideal player to round out the middle three.
Jose Mourinho has praised the German international, who is valued at £52 million, calling him “phenomenal.”
Kimmich has had a terrific career thus far for someone who is only 28 years old. He has been successful in winning the Champions League, eight Bundesliga championships, and many other things.
A player of this caliber would be a wonderful asset for Jurgen Klopp. Kimmich has a winning attitude and a ton of experience competing for championships.
Liverpool has made it clear that they are unhappy over once again failing to qualify for the Champions League during this transfer window.
They should be able to contend for the title once more with the acquisitions they have already made and a few more, like Kimmich.
