Cristiano Ronaldo sends ‘exciting’ message to PSG & Inter Milan with Al-Nassr as he reveals ambitious goals for 2023-24 season

As Al-Nassr prepares to face PSG and Inter Milan in Japan, Cristiano Ronaldo has disclosed his ambitious aspirations for the 2023-24 season.

Ronaldo has regularly talked about the potential of the Saudi Pro League since joining Al-Nassr earlier this month following a period of limited playing time at Manchester United, picturing it as one of the top five competitions in the world within the next five years. Al-Nassr began their pre-season campaign with two big defeats against Celta Vigo and Benfica, but Ronaldo is upbeat about their next tour of Japan, where they will face Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan.

“We are so happy to be here, Al-Nassr’s first time in Japan,” Ronaldo told reporters. “We’re looking forward to two good games.” The Japanese are really passionate about football, and we’re here to put up a fantastic show.”

“We hope to win all the trophies,” he said of his lofty goals for the new season. We know it will be challenging, but I believe we have a terrific team, a new coach, and new players, and we’re looking forward to having an incredible season. Of course, I’m hoping to win a few awards this year.”

Ronaldo’s entrance in the Middle East has opened the door for other great names to follow, like Karim Benzema, N’Golo Kante, and his new Al-Nassr teammate Marcelo Brozovic. The pre-season trip against European powerhouses PSG and Inter Milan provides Al-Nassr with an excellent opportunity to demonstrate its improvement and competitiveness against top-tier opposition.

Ronaldo’s ambitions and desire to win trophies will be significant motivators for Al-Nassr as they strive to make an impact in the Saudi Pro League and beyond during the 2023-24 season.
