Al Hilal, a Saudi Arabian club, is said to have made a €300 million approach to Paris Saint-Germain to sign Kylian Mbappe.
The planned agreement calls for the Frenchman to sign a one-year contract worth €700 million.
According to Football Espana, this agreement would provide the 24-year-old the option to join Real Madrid the following summer.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio of Sport, Mbappe’s family is ready for the 24-year-old superstar to accept Al Hilal’s offer, which would make him the highest-paid footballer in the world.
Mbappe has already claimed that he intends to finish out his deal, allowing him to join Real Madrid as a free agent next summer.
This agreement would allow him to do so, however he would earn far more money over the course of the year, as would PSG.
The World Cup winner is still considering the offer, but whether he accepts it or not, it is certain that he will be donning the white of Real Madrid starting next summer.
Marquinhos’ take on the Mbappe saga
Meanwhile, according to the Daily Post, PSG captain Marquinhos has stated that he would like Mbappe to rejoin the squad after the 24-year-old attacker was left out of the club’s tour of Japan.
The Ligue 1 winners have told the French forward that he must either renew his contract or be sold this summer, as they do not intend to let him depart for free next summer.
Mbappe has been linked with a move away from PSG for months, with Real Madrid and Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal reportedly the top two suitors.
Al-Hilal has made a bid for Mbappe
Previously, Sports Brief stated that Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal had made a world-record bid to recruit Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe.
After months of conflict with the club’s hierarchy, the Frenchman was left out of the team for the pre-season tour of Japan on Friday and placed up for sale.
Fabrizio Romano, a transfer expert, has revealed that Al-Hilal have filed a €300 million bid in order to begin talks with the Ligue 1 champions over Mbappe.
