Andrea D’Amico, an Italian agent, feels that Victor Osimhen is “better” than Erling Haaland and predicts that the Napoli center forward will join Paris Saint-Germain if Leo Messi leaves.
D’Amico is a well-known name in the world of football and represents a number of current and former Serie A players, notably Sebastian Giovinco and Stefano Fagioli of Juventus.
During an interview on the radio show Tutti Convocati, D’Amico remarked of Osimhen, “Right now, he is the world’s best striker, even better than Haaland. The market, however, will be evaluated during the summer.”
Thus, what could be the potential destination for the Nigeria international?
“I don’t believe he will lack options, especially in England, even though PSG cannot be underrated because they could lose a key attacker. Messi will likely move to Florida, but this is merely a hunch.”
Osimhen is currently the leading scorer in Serie A with 21 goals in 23 games. This season, he has scored 25 goals in 29 games across all competitions.
The 24-year-old sustained a muscular injury while on international duty with Nigeria last week, causing him to miss his club’s 4-0 loss to Milan on Sunday.
The Serie A leaders hope that Osimhen will be ready when they visit the Rossoneri for the first leg of the Champions League quarterfinals next week, but Sky Sport Italia stated on Tuesday that it would take a “miracle” for him to play on April 12 at San Siro.
