Liverpool target Evan N’Dicka will be available for free this summer, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Liverpool have endured a frantic campaign in Merseyside, having failed to build on the successes of last season.
After being dumped from all three cup competitions, a top four finish is their last remaining hope, as they sit sixth in the Premier League table.
Nor will that be an easy task, with reigning champions Manchester City up next at the Etihad.
Meanwhile, Jurgen Klopp will already have an eye on the transfer window, with the German urging the board to invest in the squad this summer.
One of the names thought to be on Liverpool’s shopping list is Eintracht Frankfurt defender N’Dicka, and the Reds boss has received a major boost in his pursuit of the 23-year-old.
N’Dicka set to leave for free this summer
Transfer expert Romano has confirmed that Frankfurt have signed Ecuadorian defender William Pacho from Antwerp as a replacement for N’Dicka.
Romano also reveɑled that N’Dicka was set to leave for free this summer, with the Frenchman’s contract due to expire at the end of the season.
N’Dicka, who has made 35 appearances in all competitions for Frankfurt this season, seems like a no-brainer for Liverpool, as they seek a long-term replacement for Joel Matip.
Another player Klopp is keen to lure to Anfield is World Cup star Josko Gvardiol.
The 21-year-old is one of the most sought-after defenders in Europe, having shone for RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga and Champions League this season.
While he is allegedly viewed as the ideal partner for Virgil van Dijk in the heart of defence.
However, in a major blоw for Klopp, Gvardiol bluntly dismissed suggestions he would move this summer.
The Croatian said in a recent interview with Net HR (quotes via Liverpool World): “RB Leipzig is not interested in selling me this summer, there is no point in talking about anything else.”

Liverpool faces Manchester City on Saturday, the first of a trio of ‘Big Six’ clashes, with Jürgen Klopp’s side needing points to boost its Champions League hopes.
Liverpool faces an intimidating fixture list in April with the first of a trio of clashes against so-called ‘Big Six’ sides to come in the space of eight days, starting with a trip to face Manchester City away. Jürgen Klopp will have to do without six stars, with a couple also doubtful.
There is no doubt about the task which faces the Reds over the next week or so with this weekend’s face-off with Pep Guardiola’s side at the Etihad soon followed by Chelsea away on Tuesday and then a meeting with league leaders Arsenal on Sunday. One senses that this week will not be for Liverpool supporters with faint hearts.
Liverpool very rarely gets through an international break unscathed in terms of injuries to personnel and this week has been no different with one star having picked up a knock that could keep him out for this run of fixtures and another probably facing a fitness test to face the Citizens. It has not been all bad though, with the sight of Luis Díaz emerging for training alongside his teammates after a long injᴜry lay-off at the AXA Training Centre this week a really promising sign as Liverpool heads into the final 12 games of the Premier League season.
