Man Utd entered the race for Romeo Lavia with Chelsea and Liverpool

However, the Daily Mail revealed that Man United and Chelsea are also interested in Lavia, in addition to an unnamed foreign club. Chelsea have contacted Southampton as they have yet to reach an agreement to sign Brighton’s Moises Caicedo.

Despite this, Liverpool is still a highly appreciated team in the acquisition of Lavia, after having agreed personal terms with the Belgian player.

Also according to the Daily Mail, Man United, although interested in Lavia, need to sell players first to have more transfer budget. Besides, the Red Devils are also looking to bring Sofyan Amrabat to Old Trafford. Therefore, the fact that Lavia is just a low-priority deal with MU at this time because the transfer price is considered quite high.
