Manchester United are expected to announce the outcome of their internal investigation into Mason Greenwood’s future with the club before their first match of the Premier League season against Wolves, according to talkSPORT.
Greenwood, who has been suspended by the club for the last 18 months, was cleared of all charges, including attempted rape, earlier this year but has yet to return to training with his teammates.
The 21-year-old forward, who has been with United since the age of six and has scored 35 goals in 129 appearances, is said to be eager to make his comeback for the club.
