Liverpool expect to seal ‘cut-price’ deal for 19 y/o sentational star, but will have to wait a little longer

Liverpool are still interested in signing Romeo Lavia after having their bids rejected twice by Southampton.

According to media sources, the Reds are preparing a third bid to sign the 19-year-old during the summer transfer window.

We reported last month that the Saints are willing to sell their prized asset for at least a fixed fee of £40 million, according to Sacha Tavolieri.

Recently, a well-known Belgian writer claimed that Liverpool is preparing to make a third bid and will pay the expected “transfer fee” to sign Lavia. He scribbled on X.

“I understand the bid will meet SaintsFC’s transfer fee expectations of 40 million pounds plus add-ons.”

It is also said that the Reds are the only team capable of making such an offer in order to seal the acquisition.

The young sensation has already granted his approval for a move to Anfield and is waiting for the two teams to achieve an agreement.

Liverpool were defeated 3-4 by Bayern Munich in their most recent friendly match in Singapore. The Merseysiders have already conceded ten goals in four pre-season games.

The defense has been erratic, and Klopp’s men will continue to struggle at the back without a quality play breaker who can regularly press and tackle.

With only ten days until our first Premier League match of the season, Liverpool must act quickly to clinch the signing of Romeo Lavia.
