Jürgen Klopp handed double injury boost as TWO ‘key players’ return in full training

Thiago and Bajcetic are scheduled to return to training.

According to rumours, Thiago Alcântara and Stefan Bajeti will return to Liverpool training on Saturday.

Thiago has been out of action since May due to a hip flexor ailment, while Bajcetic has been sidelined since March due to an adductor injury.

The pair were photographed at Liverpool’s AXA Training Centre earlier this summer when the Reds returned for pre-season, but both were left out of the recent trip to Singapore as they continued their recoveries back on Merseyside.

According to This is Anfield’s David Lynch, Liverpool has received a double boost ahead of the start of the new Premier League season next weekend, with both Thiago and Bajcetic likely to return to training.

The news will come as a timely boost for Jürgen Klopp, who is still looking for a new number six after having two bids for Southampton’s Roméo Lavia rejected.
