The goal proved to be the deciding factor as Al-Nassr finished in the second position behind Al-Shabab, setting up a thrilling quarter-final tie against Moroccan outfit, Raja Casablanca, on August 6.

After the match, Ronaldo took time to embrace his teammates, starting with the new signing – Mane – as he congratulated the team for their tremendous efforts.

The game also served as the Senegalese star’s debut for Al-Nassr, having recently completed his transfer from Bayern Munich during the ongoing summer transfer window.

Sports Brief also reported that Ronaldo continued his Al-Nassr scoring streak, netting his second consecutive goal in the tie against Zamalek at the King Fahd Stadium on August 3.

After Zizo put the Egyptians in the lead, the Portuguese veteran’s spectacular flying header equalised the score for the Saudi Pro League side and saved them from an early exit.
