Every National Football League game has a fashion show. Perception is extremely important in professional sports. When it comes to NFL fashion, clothes can sometimes make or break a man.
Custom suits are widespread in the NFL, with players such as Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott wearing them to post-game news conferences or just to games in general. Prescott isn’t the only one. The bulk of the league’s players dress sharply before and after games.
“I’ve got suits by Jay Lombardo and Thomas Marchitelli (from the Gentleman’s Playbook),” Prescott explained. “I usually buy my suits from them, and they tell me how to wear them.” I’ll change it up now and then.” Kavon Frazier, the Cowboys’ second-year safety and self-proclaimed “best dressed player in the NFL,” lends an edge to the fashion game. “I feel compelled to make a statement.
I’m the most stylish NFL athlete. “Every game swag,” Frazier explained. “Sometimes I’m classy, and sometimes I’m flashy.” “I don’t think anyone switches it up like I do.”I’m waiting for it to become cold so I can put on something fancy.” Frazier’s method to dressing differs depending on whether he is playing at home or on the road.
“I play my best at home games.” We have to wear the suit longer on the road, so I have to go more for comfort,” Frazier explained. “It’s still going to look good.” Who are Frazier’s rivals in the NFL and in the Cowboys’ locker room?
“Probably Cam Newton in the league.” He’s most likely up there. He does, indeed, have the caps. “I don’t believe he’s close to me,” Frazier explained. “In the locker room, it’s either Orlando Scandrick or Terrance Williams.” They both have some swag. “I’m still number one.”
Football is a sport. There’s something to be said for dressing for success in professional football. “We understand that it’s important to their careers,” said Jay Lombardo of Lombardo Custom Apparel in Dallas. “It conjures up images for them.” They’re much larger than life. It’s critical for them to maintain that continuity.”
Lombardi understands the fashion thought process in professional sports. He’s been around for around 30 years and has clothed many sportsmen and coaches. “We’ve been in business for so long that we used to make Tom Landry’s clothes.” There have always been quarterbacks.
Lombardo stated, “We had Troy Aikman, Roger Staubach, Tony Romo, and now Dak.” “We’ve always had a relationship with the Cowboys, Tyron Smith, and a lot of the guys on the team.”
