On August 3, Birmingham City revealed that Brady had recently formed a relationship with Knighthead Capital Management. The St Andrew’s team has also named the seven-time Super Bowl champion as head of an advisory group that will have direct interaction with the board.
Brady, who announced his retirement from the NFL for the second time in February, will work in a variety of club departments. He will use his leadership skills to advise the Blues’ sports science department on health, nutrition, wellness, and rehabilitation programs, among other things.

Brady and the club’s marketing team will also collaborate to strengthen Birmingham’s worldwide brand and create new commercial agreements. In 2023/24, Birmingham will play their 13th consecutive season in the Championship. They last competed in the Premier League in 2010/11.
Brady considers it a “true honor” to be a minority owner of Birmingham City after investing in the club. After his glittering career, he also intends to contribute to the Blues’ success.
