Jimmy Butler has completed another outstanding campaign with the Miami Heat.
The six-time NBA All-Star shot 53.9% from the field and 35.0% from three-point range, averaging 22.9 points, 5.9 rebounds, 5.3 assists, and 1.8 steals per game.
Butler made an amazing announcement on Twitter early on Saturday morning when he released a video promoting his forthcoming basketball and cheer camp.
Butler captioned the video: “let’s get to work! join me for my youth basketball & cheer camp august 26th & 27th in fort lauderdale, fl! open to ages 7-18, all skill levels! register at link in @CSA_Camps bio. see you there! “
As the top player on the Heat, Butler is one of the most well-liked NBA players.
Consequently, it is likely that the youth camp will be an important occasion in South Florida.
In his fifth season with the Heat, the former Marquette player joined the team in the summer of 2019.
They were the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference last season, yet they advanced all the way to the NBA Finals (where they were defeated by the Denver Nuggets in five games).
Butler participated in 22 playoff games, scoring an amazing 26.9 points per game while shooting 35.9% from three-point range and pulling down 6.5 rebounds per game.
In all four of the seasons since he joined the Heat, he has guided them to the postseason, and twice, they have advanced to the NBA Finals.
Butler spent 12 seasons in the NBA playing for the Heat in addition to the Chicago Bulls, Minnesota Timberwolves, and Philadelphia 76ers.
