As reported by Sky Sports, Manchester United has officially joined the race to sign Kylian Mbappe, the highly talented French forward who has attracted interest from multiple clubs. Mbappe’s exclusion from PSG’s pre-season tour in Japan and South Korea has sparked speculation about his future in the club.
Former footballer Dwight Yorke has expressed his belief that Manchester United should actively pursue Mbappe, envisioning him as a player who could have a similar impact to that of Messi or Ronaldo.
Fabrizio Romano, a well-known journalist, has revealed that PSG rejected a €170 million bid from Real Madrid for Mbappe on August 4th. Additionally, Romano confirmed that PSG has no intention of selling Mbappe to “Los Blancos” because they believe Real Madrid engaged in unauthorized negotiations to secure a free transfer in 2024.
This rejection by PSG presents an opportunity for other Premier League clubs, including Manchester United and Chelsea, to potentially pursue the French forward’s signature.
