A Touching Moment former captain of Liverpool Henderson and Sadio Mane reunite in Saudi Arabia

Following their transfer to the Saudi Pro League, Sadio Mane and Jordan Henderson have been spotted together.

The Senegalese forward transferred from Bayern Munich to Al Nassr during the summer transfer window, while Henderson signed with Steven Gerrard’s Al Ettifaq.

For the first time since leaving Liverpool, the UEFA Champions League-winning teammates will compete against one another in the Saudi league as rivals.

In a now-famous social media video, a beaming Mane gave Henderson a loving embrace as they engaged in polite conversation.

Together, Mane and Henderson took home the English Premier League and the FA Cup, among other honors.

Alongside the renowned Cristiano Ronaldo, the 31-year-old has already made his Al Nassr debut, helping the team advance to the Arab Club Champions Cup semifinals.

Following his transfer to the Saudi club, Henderson has yet to play for Al Ettifaq.

Fabinho, a second ex-Liverpool player who played for Al-Ittihad after leaving the English powerhouse, won the 2019 UEFA Champions League in Saudi Arabia, according to the BBC.

Several English Premier League players, including former Manchester City winger Riyad Mahrez, have moved to the Saudi Pro League.
