Manchester United has collaborated with Roy Keane to release the 2023-24 third kit, which contains the club’s classic Red Devil insignia.
WHAT OCCURED?United have now officially introduced all three of their shirts for the new season, and uploaded a video of club legend Keane returning at Old Trafford in an official role on social media on Monday to promote the third outfit. In a short movie, the Irishman emerged from the shadows donning United’s new third kit and delivered a dramatic monologue, stating, “So you’re a Devil, are you?” Let us review the terms. The Devil is more of a covenant than something you wear. It is not suitable for everyone. We have high hopes. And we’ll know if you’re serious as soon as the sun comes up. What do you get in exchange? Manchester United has arrived! So there you have it. Sign on the dotted line, no small print. But you signed already, didn’t you? “Even before you were born.”
The 2023-24 jersey is now officially on sale, and for the first time in more than 50 years, it will include United’s Red Devil badge, inspired by the 1909 cup-winning kit.
THE BIGGER PICTURE: For the first time, the Red Devil appears on the shirt alone, and adidas collaborated with United on a short film starring former club captain Keane.The design is completed with a red ribbed crew neck collar and the trademark adidas three stripes down each sleeve in white.
According to adidas, the on-field version of the shirt is made with HEAT.RDY technology, which is designed to keep athletes comfortable while playing on the biggest platform. AEROREADY technology, which uses sweat-wicking or absorbent materials to keep the body dry, is also included in the package.
