This Nuggets lineup was made up of a number of elite complementary players who, in many respects, have established a template for what a successful team should look like. The Nuggets built their squad around Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray with championship-friendly players who precisely complemented their two stars, while so many teams are searching for multiple tier-one stars.

While Jokic has justifiably gotten much of the credit for his historically outstanding postseason performance, his teammates were by his side the entire time and each had memorable moments. Caldwell-Pope is unquestionably one of those players who converted crucial shots at crucial times, demonstrating how his seasoned status and championship success paid off.
