Tom Brady reflected on his life in an emotional Instagram post on Tuesday, following his recent vacation to Africa with his family, where he celebrated his 46th birthday.
Brady discussed the “next chapter” of his life amid speculations that he is dating model Irina Shayk. Brady’s message included images of his family and the locations he saw on his trip.
“It was another special reminder that life is TRULY about relationships and memories…” he wrote of his vacation. “I’ve had a lot of time to reflect and be grateful for all the incredible blessings this past week of my birthday.”
“I never imagined as a youngster growing up in San Mateo that my life would become what it has… I’ve seen a lot in my first 45 years, but what I’ve enjoyed most are the people I’ve shared the most life-changing moments with….my children, my family, my loved ones, and friends, and all of you have contributed so much to this incredible/adventurous life.

Brady cited two phrases that inspired him: “The life you lead is the lesson you teach,” and “If I am not for myself, who will be?” “Who am I if not for others?”

He promised to keep them in mind as he began another rotation around the sun.
“I am taking these next few days one at a time, focusing on being my best self for myself and others, and living a life of integrity and purpose.”
Brady’s ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen, commented on his post with a prayer-hands emoji.
Brady’s contemplation comes amid allegations about him and Shayk. They were caught flirting in his car late last month, en route to his Los Angeles home. Shayk and the ex-NFL quarterback originally generated dating rumors in June after attending the same wedding in Sardinia, where it was alleged that the Russian supermodel “threw herself” at the sportsman, a claim her representative categorically refuted.
Brady’s representative informed Fox News Digital in July that there would be no comment on the state of his relationship with Shayk, who was most recently linked to reality star Kim Kardashian. Brady and Bündchen split in October.
