The Miami Heat duo was not included in Bleacher Report’s rankings at all.
Due to a lack of individual success, the Miami Heat’s All-Star tandem of Bam Adebayo and Jimmy Butler are frequently disregarded. The team’s accomplishment, though, is what ought to place them among the best five NBA duos.
Butler and Adebayo were omitted from a recent ranking of the NBA’s top superstar pairs by Bleacher Report. The top five players were as follows: LeBron James and Anthony Davis; Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jrue Holiday; Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray; Devin Booker and Kevin Durant.
The Heat team’s tandem wasn’t even given an honorable mention.
The top four couples on the list are deserving of their positions, but Irving and Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks shouldn’t come before Butler and Adebayo.
The Heat have appeared in two Finals and three Eastern Conference Finals over the past four seasons. While competing successfully in the postseason against the Milwaukee Bucks, Boston Celtics, and Philadelphia 76ers. Butler and Adebayo are largely responsible for this accomplishment.
While Irving and Doncic may be the more talented team, they haven’t had any real success. They had only been together for the first half of the season, missing the playoffs outright. When both players were healthy, their record was 5-11.
These rankings are based on the current season rather than a prognosis for the upcoming one. Making it utterly absurd to rank a successful Heat team in front of a rookie Mavericks team.
