Cowboys ‘haters’ Emmanuel Acho and LeSean McCoy were spotted ‘attend’ practice

Emmanuel Acho and LeSean McCoy, two of the Dallas Cowboys’ harshest critics, are in Oxnard for practice. But why…?

Emmanuel Acho and LeSean McCoy, co-hosts of FS1’s “Speak,” have been more cartoonishly critical of the Dallas Cowboys recently. Both ex-NFL players are attempting to establish a name for themselves on television by sitting in a Los Angeles studio and doing ridiculous things.

Critics recently challenged him to attend a Cowboys practice in person.

“When the fans speak, I listen,” Acho responded. “They said if you’re going to talk about the Cowboys, you should come to practice.” So we showed up!”

Indeed, the unprofessional shock-jock hosts headed to Oxnard on Tuesday, allegedly to see some football and thereby further their research.

Unfortunately, that is not exactly what happened. Following the viral video of his trash talk exchange with cornerback Trevon Diggs, McCoy, the former NFL running back who spent time with the Cowboys’ NFC East rival Philadelphia Eagles, repeated his most controversial statement from last season when he called Prescott “ass” while asserting that the locker room doesn’t respect Dak.

On Tuesday, WFAA’s Mike Leslie challenged him on both takes on the air; to his credit, “Shady” made himself accessible for a handful of media visits… and did not demonstrate the verbal agility to cope with those.

McCoy defended his heated views with startling eloquence. And Acho explained his appearance by telling some horrible lies.

Acho stated in a series of tweets that the two “drove three hours” from L.A. to Oxnard to watch the Cowboys practice. We’re not sure why it took “three hours”; we’ve done the drive several times, and 90 minutes normally covers the 50 miles.

Furthermore, after their claim that they “watched practice,” a number of individuals in attendance pointed out that they actually did something less than that, making a brief appearance beginning at 11:08 a.m., talking to virtually no players or coaches, and then leaving at 11:45 a.m.

Four hours after Acho’s initial brag, he changed his story, stating that they watched “45 minutes of practice” before returning to L.A. to tape their show.

However, the couple primarily observed the Cowboys during stretching – a significant percentage of what happens on the field beginning at 11 a.m. – before departing. Nonetheless, McCoy appears to have been impressed, stating that the “first thing I noticed” is that Dallas is “a top-three most-talented club in the league – sheesh!”

Furthermore, McCoy later appeared on Colin Cowherd’s show to demonstrate the talent he witnessed (during stretching).
