A few hours ago, the homepage of the Man United club announced that goalkeeper Tom Heaton was injured in the last training session. That means the 37-year-old star will miss his first Premier League game between Man United and Wolves.
According to the home page of the Old Trafford team, Tom Heaton will take a few weeks to fully recover. The goalkeeper born in 1986 will undergo a thorough test to determine the extent of the injury. This is clearly bad news for coach Erik ten Hag.
Besides Tom Heaton, Man United also does not have the service of Dean Henderson. Henderson suffered a thigh injury and could not return to the field before September. Thus, Man United had the only option in the wooden frame named Andre Onana.
This summer, Man United has a strong disturbance in the wooden frame. David de Gea leaves, Nathan Bishop joins Sunderland club, Matej Kovar is rumored to leave Old Trafford, while Radek Vitek has a knee injury.
Man United is linked to Zion Suzuki, although the Japanese goalkeeper is not too keen on the plan to dock at Old Trafford. Suzuki plans to join Belgian football team, STVV.
