Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo is reportedly reconsidering a move to Liverpool, despite the fact that the Reds hijacked Chelsea’s plans with a £111 million deal.
Jurgen Klopp’s side appeared to be the new frontrunners to recruit the Ecuador international, having offered more than Brighton’s £105 million asking price – with Chelsea afterwards bidding £100 million.
The German manager even stated that the club’s proposal had been accepted, with the player seeming certain to become a Liverpool star this summer, but Sky Sports reports that Caicedo is not entirely sure about moving to Anfield.
Caicedo and his representatives are still in London, according to reporter Dhamesh Sheth, ahead of preparations to travel to Liverpool for a physical on Friday.
