Alisson brҽaks silҽnce after he and Heпderson had a ‘fᴜrious ҽxchange’

Alisson has commented on the altercation that occurred on the field between him and Jordan Henderson during Liverpool’s scoreless draw with Chelsea.

As a result of some miscommunication between Alisson and his Brazilian teammate Fabinho, Jurgen Klopp’s team almost handed Chelsea the victory.

Not one to conceal his feelings, Henderson criticized the goalkeeper within their own penalty area, resulting in a heated altercation between the two.

Alisson was able to take his goal-kick only after defender Joel Matip intervened to separate the pair so that Alisson could take his goal-kick.

Alisson told ESPN Brazil, as reported by the Mirror, that he and Henderson are “two individuals who argue” and that their quarrel sprang from their desire to improve the Reds’ difficult season.

He stated, “Me and Henderson are two individuals that battle and sacrifice their lives for their team. And there is no way to ask “please” on the pitch.

‘Thus, it may appear that the team’s morale is strong at times, but it’s just two individuals attempting to resolve the issue, do things in the best way for the team, and assist. Obviously, [this season] has been challenging; it has been a tremendous test.

“We are human beings with the same emotions as everyone else.” Humans become frustrated when unpleasant events occur. We are happy when we are healthy. The ρositive aspect of football, though, prevents us from grieving for an extended period of time.

‘When things are going poorly, two or three days after a match in which the team performs poorly, there is already a second chance. Hence, this is our challenge for the season. Each game will demonstrate our true talent and teamwork.’

Stuart Pearce, working for talkSPORT, stated that the incident ‘originated’ from Saturday’s 4-1 loss to Man City, with Liverpool players expressing discontent with their current situation.

Also involving Henderson, a similar situation occurred in the first half when the former Sunderland midfielder yelled at Matip for not passing him the ball quickly enough while he was in a decent position in the right outside channel.

Yet, Matip appeared more tranquil than the Brazilian.

‘It stems from Saturday, you can sense the aggravation there, and you’re looking at such a horrible miss [from Felix] on this occasion,’ he remarked.

On Sunday, league-leading Arsenal will pay a visit to Liverpool, who have endured a difficult season in which the team has been unable to approach the standard of play for which they are known.

It has been a season marred by inconsistency, injuries, and squad-related uncertainty difficulties.

Given Liverpool’s struggles this season, it would not be surρrising if Anfield has been the scene of numerous disagreements.
