Al-Nassr had just won the Arab Clubs Champions Cup, but had to pay a heavy price when superstar Ronaldo was injured. In the opening match of the new Saudi Pro League season, CR7 can only sit on the bench.
Al-Nassr got into the game quite excited when he scored the opponent’s goal right after 4 minutes. Sadio Mane had a quick shot on the goal to open the scoring for the visitors.
After scoring a goal to break the deadlock, Al-Nassr played with excitement and completely dominated the game in the first half. With more luck, Mane could have scored a double.

Just 6 minutes later, Al-Ettifaq added another goal. Al-Nassr’s goalkeeper tried to push the ball, but the ball hit the foot of striker Moussa Dembele on Al-Ettifaq’s side and flew into the net.
Being quickly led back, Al-Nassr frantically attacked in the remaining minutes of the second half. However, the ungratefulness made it impossible for them to find a goal.
The final result of this match was 2-1 in favor of Al-Ettifaq. Al-Nassr had a disappointing opening game and showed that they are missing Ronaldo very much.
