Al-Nassr provides Cristiano Ronaldo injury update after Arab champions cup final

After scoring twice for Al Nassr in the Arab Cup final, Cristiano Ronaldo had to be substituted in a tram and was reported injured.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Al Nassr just spent a historic night when they beat Al Hilal 2-1 to win the Arab Cup for the first time. Both goals were attributed to the Portuguese star after the home team was short of players. However, not everything was perfect for CR7 because he was substituted after having a problem with his thigh (or knee).

The incident occurred in the middle of second extra time when Ronaldo was involved in a challenge that resulted in a collision that prevented him from continuing the game. CR7 had to get help from the medical staff and leave the field in an electric car.

With this injury, Ronaldo was almost unable to celebrate his first title with Al Nassr. At the end of the match, he limped onto the field with the help of his teammates.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the fact that Ronaldo fell to the ground hugging his left thigh shows that he seems to have suffered a muscle injury. Meanwhile, AS newspaper said it was a knee injury. The extent of this is still unknown, but at Al Nassr, there is concern that the Portuguese star cannot stand on his own two feet for fear of serious muscle injury.

If this turns out to be true, Ronaldo risks a long-term absence from the season in Saudi Arabia that just opened.
