£32M ‘Pogba Ivorian’ helps Liverpool forget about Caicedo and Lavia

According to Liverpool Echo, The Kop can replace Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia with midfielder PSV Eindhoven.

This summer, Liverpool are having a really hard time recruiting a quality defensive midfielder. The Kop was defeated by Chelsea in two important deals, Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia for a total of £170 million.

Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai are needed additions to coach Jurgen Klopp’s squad, but he needs a true replacement for the position left by Jordan Henderson and Fabinho.

Last season, Liverpool were fiercely pursuing Jude Bellingham and Aurelien Tchouameni. But in the end, both of these stars moved to Real Madrid. And the unexpected scenario repeats again with the red half of Merseyside this year, with the case of Caicedo and Lavia.

However, Liverpool still have a quality target to be able to recruit before the transfer market closes. Ibrahim Sangare has been interested in Nottingham recently, but PSV Eindhoven has just rejected an offer of £ 21.5 million sent from City Ground. And The Kop can own the Ivory Coast international player if he breaks his £32 million release clause with the host club at the moment.

This week, Liverpool contacted Sangare. But the Anfield team needs to make the deal quickly because PSG and Bayern Munich are also looking to get the 25-year-old midfielder’s service.
