OFFICIAL! Man Utd announced Mason Greenwood, the case gradually unraveled

In the context of public concern about Mason Greenwood’s case, Manchester United were forced to speak up.

Man Utd’s official website said: “Following Mason Greenwood’s dismissal of all charges in February 2023, we conducted a thorough internal investigation into conduct against him.

This has been based on a lot of evidence and we have heard from many people who were directly involved or aware of the incident.

Throughout this process, the alleged victim’s interests and views are central to the team’s questions and we respect her lifelong right to remain anonymous.

We also have a responsibility to Greenwood as a member and as a young man who has been with the team since the age of 7 and as a father to his partner.

The fact-finding process of our investigation is now complete and we are in the final stages of making a decision about Greenwood’s future.

Contrary to media speculation, that decision has yet to be made and is currently the subject of in-depth internal discussion. The ultimate responsibility rests with the CEO.

Once adopted, the decision will be communicated and explained to the club’s internal and external stakeholders.

This is a difficult case for everyone involved with Man United and we understand the strong opinions based on the part of the available evidence. We ask for patience as we work through the final stages of this carefully considered process.”

Thus, Man Utd has had preliminary investigation results on Greenwood but is considering making the most reasonable decision in the near future. Obviously, Man Utd is pushed into an extremely difficult situation.

Of course, they don’t want to lose one of the team’s greatest talents over the years. On the contrary, if Greenwood is allowed to reintegrate, surely the Red Devils will face pressure and pressure from public opinion.

A source from The Athletic confirmed CEO Richard Arnold plans to shoot a video explaining the decision to bring back Greenwood and will be shared with both employees and the public on August 4.

However, for various reasons, this plan could not happen. However, journalist David Ornstein said: “Director of football John Murtough and coach Erik Ten Hag support allowing Greenwood to reintegrate into the Man Utd squad.”

The British media also confirmed that Man Utd decided to forgive and give Greenwood the opportunity to start over. The point is that they need to come up with a reasonable explanation for all parties involved.
