Man Utd make official announcement about Mason Greenwood

The British media has reported that coach Erik ten Hag is considering the possibility of summoning Mason Greenwood back to the first team of Manchester United. Ten Hag intends to wait for the results of the Women’s World Cup, where several female players from the Old Trafford Stadium team are involved, in order to listen to their opinions on the matter. The official Manchester United website recently stated, “Our fact-finding phase has been completed, and the club is in the final stages of making a decision on Mason’s future. The ultimate responsibility lies with CEO Richard Arnold.”

According to The Athletic, Richard Arnold has made the decision to recall Mason Greenwood to the first team starting in August and plans to release a video explaining the decision. However, as of now, two weeks later, Manchester United has not finalized the decision and may potentially change their plans. The club’s leadership has also clarified that this decision rests with the team and that the opinions of fans and players are taken into account but not the sole basis for consultation.
