Man United is about to welcome 2 rookies, Maguire and 2 other stars have a new destination

MU is trying to sell some redundant names to bring in more rookies before the summer transfer window closes.

According to the Daily Mail (UK), MU is about to complete the recruitment of Turkish goalkeeper Altay Bayindir worth £ 4.3 million as a backup plan for Andre Onana.

However, this deal will only happen when MU sells goalkeeper Dean Henderson to Crystal Palace for £ 15 million with £ 5 million in additional fees. The “Red Devils” also added a clause to receive a percentage of the transfer fee if Crystal Palace sold Dean Henderson in the future.

In the middle of last week, Bayindir did not play in the match Fenerbahce beat Twente 5-1 in the Europa Conference League. After that match, the 25-year-old goalkeeper appeared to say goodbye to the Turkish team’s fans as a way to announce his preparation to move to MU.

Meanwhile, journalist Christian Falk of BILD (Germany) said that MU and Bayern Munich are discussing the possibility of exchanging people on loan between Scott McTominay and Ryan Gravenberch.

McTominay has struggled to squeeze into Erik Ten Hag’s regular starting XI. The 26-year-old player has only been named in 11 starts after 24 appearances for MU in the Premier League 2022/23 season. The Scottish player was named in the squad to play in all of MU’s opening 3 Premier League matches this season but played only 7 minutes.

Similarly, Gravenberch also has difficulty occupying a regular starting position at Bayern Munich under coach Thomas Tuchel. In 24 appearances last season, the Dutch midfielder only started 3 times for “Gray Lobster” and came on from the bench in the remaining 21 matches.

Gravenberch did not feature in Bayern Munich’s first game of the new Bundesliga season, before being substituted for nine minutes by coach Tuchel in a 3-1 win over Augsburg.

Before the summer transfer window closes on September 1, MU still needs to sell some names that are not in the plan of coach Ten Hag to have any hope of bringing in more rookies. It is reported that West Ham have reopened talks with MU about Harry Maguire, but it remains to be seen whether the English midfielder will agree.
