Amrabat has not trained with the Fiorentina first team, MU is close to getting the Moroccan player’s signature

Corriere dello Sport say midfielder Sofyan Amrabat is set to join Man United on loan with an option to buy for 25 million euros (£21.5 million).

The Moroccan star is a long-term target of Man United. Coach Erik ten Hag still wants to bring in a quality central midfielder to strengthen the midfield.

However, the Red Devils have struggled with Fiorentina’s request of 30 million euros (£25.7 million) and the deal seems to have fallen through with no positive developments in recent weeks.

But when the 2023 summer transfer market was about to close, Man United came up with a solution that could help them get the players they needed without having to spend too much money and violate the Financial Fair Play Law.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Amrabat is set to join Man United on loan with an option to buy for 25 million euros (£21.5 million) next summer.

In the opposite direction, Man United is also preparing to push two more stars before the deadline of the summer transfer window 2023 to be able to balance the budget and not violate the Financial Fair Play Law.

Accordingly, the Red Devils can push defender Alvaro Fernandez to Granada after the deal with Tagliafico is done. In addition, MU also hopes to sell midfielder Scott McTominay before the transfer market closes. He is currently in the sights of Bayern.
