ALEXIS MAC ALLISTER’S brother was overjoyed to learn of his impending family reunion with the Liverpool star.
The big boys of the Premier League On Friday, Liverpool awaited the outcome of their Europa League campaign.
The five-time Champions League champions were placed in Group F of Europe’s secondary club championship, alongside Union Saint-Gilloise, Toulouse, and LASK.
The games against Union SG will be crucial for Reds newcomer Mac Allister, whose brother Kevin plays for the Belgian club.
Union’s stars discovered about their group while flying, and the occasion was filmed by the social media crew.
They erupted in joy when they learned they would be facing the Kop club.
Kevin grinned as he prepared for two games versus his younger brother later this year.
And he was fast to notify his £45 million sibling.
With a sardonic smirk on his face, he responded, “See you soon, bro.”
A whirring Kevin then resorted to Twitter to reach out to Liverpool’s No.10 player.
“I told you yesterday!!” tweeted the Argentine.
“Aside from the outcome, the experience of facing each other in one of the most beautiful soccer venues will be unforgettable.”
“See you soon, bro @alemacallister.”
Alexis joined Liverpool from Brighton in the summer in a transaction worth up to £55 million.
But the 24-year-old’s Merseyside career got off to the worst possible start when he was SENT OFF in Liverpool’s first home game of the season against Bournemouth.
However, his dismissal was overturned on appeal, and he has since made three appearances for the Merseysiders this season.
Alexis and his Liverpool teammates will return to play on Sunday when they host Aston Villa at Anfield.
