Sergio Reguilon and Altay Bayindir had their first training session with new teammates at Man United

Man Utd successfully borrowed defender Sergio Reguilon from Tottenham on the last day of the transfer market. This player has completed his medical examination at Old Trafford.

Luke Shaw suffered a relatively serious thigh injury in the match against Tottenham. The English player was forced to take a long break (minimum 10 weeks). For that reason, Man Utd must quickly find a replacement for Luke Shaw in the final days of the transfer market.

The Manchester club is considering the names Marc Cucurella of Chelsea and Sergio Reguilon of Tottenham. Finally, Man Utd successfully convinced Tottenham to loan Sergio Reguilon.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Man Utd will borrow the Spaniard star again for a season. It is unclear whether this team will install a buyout clause for Tottenham’s left back or not.

The Sun newspaper said that Sergio Reguilon completed his medical examination and debuted at Man Utd today. The Spanish player joined Tottenham from Real Madrid in 2020. Over the past three years, he has appeared in 67 matches for Spurs.

Last season, Sergio Reguilon was loaned back to Atletico Madrid by Tottenham. However, the defender born in 1996 only played 11 matches for the Madrid club in La Liga.

In addition to Sergio Reguilon, Man Utd is rushing to complete the deal to recruit midfielder Sofyan Amrabat. The biggest problem in this deal lies in the buyout clause of the Moroccan player. According to estimates, everything can be resolved soon.
