Fans are accusing Tom Brady of overdoing it on Botox after he appeared in a new NFL promotional film.
The retired athlete discussed whether the NFL is “scripted” in the tape, which the league published on Instagram on Tuesday.
“Do I think the NFL is scripted?” he started. “Do you think I would’ve gone along with a script that had me losing to Peyton [Manning’s] younger brother, Eli [Manning], twice in the Super Bowl?” No.”
While many fans flocked to the comments section to voice their football thoughts, others remarked that Brady, 46, looked different than he did before announcing his retirement in February.
“Dude needs to chill on the plastic surgery,” one fan commented.
“The plastic surgery is creepy,” another said.
“lay off the botox and hair transplants @tombrady ur starting to look like giselle (sic),” a third fan said, referring to Brady’s ex-wife, supermodel Gisele Bündchen.
“Botox city Jesus,” said another, and a fifth fan referred to the former NFL great as “Botox Brady.”
Brady was compared to the “handsome Squidward” meme by one user.
Brady has never revealed whether or not he has had plastic surgery.
His recent relationship with Irina Shayk could be one of the reasons he looks younger than ever.
The former Tampa Bay Buccaneers star and the model, 37, who have been trying to keep their romance private, were spotted leaving the same London hotel last month.
The Daily Mail stated at the time that the pair had spent 48 hours “holed up” inside the five-star hotel The Twenty Two.
Five minutes apart, Brady and Shayk were photographed exiting the hotel.
