‘7 chances created, 3 assists’ – United star is brilliant in international win

Christian Eriksen, a Manchester United midfielder, contributed to Denmark’s huge triumph over San Marino.

While there are no easy games in the Premier League, international football is not the same.

Matches versus San Marino are essentially practice matches, and Denmark made it look easy last night.

Christian Eriksen was the finest player on the field as Denmark cruised to a 4-0 victory and never looked back. They scored three goals in the first half, one of which was called out by VAR, and a fourth in injury time.

Christian Eriksen is unrivaled

Denmark maintained their position in an automatic qualifying spot for Euro 2024, continuing their comeback from a poor World Cup. They are in second place, two points behind Finland, who they will face next.

Christian Eriksen, a Manchester United midfielder, provided three assists, the first of which was a magnificent backheel.

Eriksen produced seven opportunities in total, completed 90% of his passes, and touched the ball 142 times. He played the entire 90 minutes.

Despite the fact that it was only San Marino, Eriksen delivered a great performance.

Rasmus Hojlund serves as a replacement

Rasmus Hojlund did not play for the whole 90 minutes, as manager Kasper Hjulmand promised before the game.

However, you had to ask why he was being played at all. Denmark was ahead 3-0 when Hojlund came on in the 58th minute.

Hojlund was involved, generating one chance but failing to add to his record of six international goals thus far in the qualifiers. He hit the post with a low shot on the turn, but it sailed wide.

From Denmark’s standpoint, this was only a warm-up for the upcoming match against Finland, against whom he already scored a hat-trick earlier this year.
