19-year-old Ryan Gravenberch had an outstanding 2020 season. The dynamic midfielder for Ajax was a significant player for this year’s national winner. He has a real Ajax heart, having joined the club at the age of seven and making his first team debut at the age of sixteen. That makes him the club’s youngest debutant and the club’s youngest scorer of all time. He will represent the Netherlands at the European Championship this summer. You are a TROPHY BY GASSAN ambassador. The brand converts the desire to be the best into iconic personalized jewelry that, like a personal trophy, represents the journey to achievement. What is your most memorable Trophy moment?
“This is my first appearance for the Dutch national team.” I had always looked up to the national team as a child, and I felt really proud of myself when I first donned the orange shirt.
For me, the term trophy also represents the wonderful things I’ve experienced throughout my time at Ajax and for which I’ve worked hard. Winning the Eredivisie title with Ajax this season is a great moment for me, much like making my first team debut as the youngest player ever.”
Can you tell us a little bit about your TROPHY BY GASSAN jewelry?
“The number 8 is very important in my jewelry.” It is my favorite number, and I have always experimented with it. TROPHY BY GASSAN made my jewelry since I’ve known the staff at GASSAN for a long time and feel at ease there. I visited GASSAN for the first time three years ago. I had recently signed my first contract with Ajax and purchased a watch. We’ve been in touch since then; it’s a football-oriented brand with excellent jewelry and watches.”
