Midfielder Martin Odegaard personally admitted that he felt honored to become Arsenal’s captain, this was his happiest moment at Emirates Stadium.
Martin Odegaard once had a lot of expectations for Real Madrid, but he was not used and was sent out on loan to many different teams. After half a season of impressive football playing for Arsenal on loan, the Gunners decided to sign a long-term contract with the midfielder.
Under the guidance of coach Mikel Arteta, Martin Odegaard is one of the irreplaceable factors of the London team. He played prominently in the midfield. Odegaard does a good job of distributing the ball, regulating the match, and creating and scoring goals.
After Alexandre Lacazette left, the 24-year-old was given the Gunners captaincy and since then, he has been fulfilling his assigned role well. The player born in 1998 always plays hard in matches, he never shows signs of giving up.
Odegaard now becomes the conductor of Arsenal’s play. Most recently, he expressed his thoughts on wearing the captain’s armband of the London football team. Martin Odegaard said: ” My happiest moment to date is wearing the captain’s armband of Arsenal.”
“Honestly, I think it’s hard to describe. This is a great honor for me. It was one of the best things I could have had in my life. I am still working hard to repay the trust of the coaching staff and fans.”
