Heat forward Jimmy Butler could join ‘the Redeem team’ with LeBron James and Kevin Durant in 2024 Paris Olympics

Jimmy Butler, a player for the Miami Heat, is one of the candidates being discussed to represent Team USA at the 2024 Olympics.

Following their disappointing fourth-place result in the FIBA World Cup, Team USA may field a group of many first-ballot Hall of Fame candidates at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

LeBron James wants to play for Team USA and has spoken to Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Anthony Davis, Jayson Tatum, and Draymond Green. He is also ready to commit, according to Shams Charania and Joe Vardon of The Athletic. In the meantime, substantial interest has been exhibited by Devin Booker, Damian Lillard, De’Aaron Fox, and Kyrie Irving.

Jimmy Butler of the Miami Heat is one player not included in this list among the others. His absence from this group is unexpected given his connections to Team USA. He was a member of the Rio 2016 Olympic gold-winning team.

The offseason is when Butler is known to travel, play cards, and watch tennis. It is therefore possible that he decides not to join the team in order to enjoy his vacation. But if he decides to play, his commitment to excellence would be a great benefit.

Many players, including James, Curry, and perhaps Butler, who might retire before the 2028 season, could be seen as having their “last dance” in this game.
