After joining Liverpool FC, Ryan Gravenberch is ready to get started.
The 21-year-old had been a long-term target for the Reds and completed his £34.2 million move from Bayern Munich on deadline day. “I’m very happy,” the new number 38 said of the next chapter in his career to liverpoolfc.com. I’m pleased that the transaction is over and that I can finally arrive.
“From the outside, it appears to be one of the world’s largest nightclubs.” Also, from the outside, I believe the crowd and stadium are wonderful. That’s why [it was the right club].”
Gravenberch has already shown his loyalty to Jurgen Klopp by withdrawing from international duty with the Netherlands under-21s to acclimate to his new surroundings. The Dutch FA announced on Monday that “Ryan Gravenberch will not travel to Zeist this international match to join the Dutch Juniors.”
“The Liverpool FC midfielder has indicated to KNVB coach Michael Reiziger that he wants to focus on his new club during the international match in September and will therefore not make himself available.”
Gravenberch and his long-term partner, Cindy Peroti, have moved to Merseyside. She regularly updates her Instagram account about their connection, and earlier this week she posted a snapshot of the midfielder carrying the Red shirt.
She said, “A new beginning.” Gravenberch is a product of Ajax’s famed academy who progressed through the ranks to become a key member of the team that won the Eredivisie in 2021/22.
Cindy’s first snapshot with the talented Dutchman was taken on the pitch at the Johan Cruyff Arena following Ajax’s league victory. She used a medal emoji to accompany photographs of the two on the field.
Cindy relocated to Munich with Gravenberch when he joined the German champions last summer, and she paid him a heartfelt tribute, writing, “Up to a new chapter, so proud of you.”
Cindy has revealed photos from their recent holidays, which took them to Mykonos, Dubai, and Ibiza. Cindy celebrated her 21st birthday in the summer with a trip to Nela, a posh Amsterdam restaurant.
Her boyfriend sent her a happy birthday, replete with a love heart and a party popper emoji.
